I originally started tattooing at the age at 18, I work out of my house for a few years learning with every tattoo. I had a lot of loyal foolish friends that let me tattoo the hell out of them, if it wasn’t for those guys I wouldn’t be where I am today. In 1999 I was lucky enough to be offered in apprenticeship with Durb Morrison. Most people talk about their apprenticeship and say how much they hated it, it was the exact opposite for me I loved every minute of it! All the crappy jobs like scrubbing tubes and mopping floors were overshadowed by the fun I was having. In 2004 I was offered the chance to buy the studio from Durb, since then I have been working nonstop to improve my art work and the studio.
My hard work paid off in April of 2011 I purchased an investment property to move the studio to, after seven months of blood sweat and tears October of 2011 Stained Skin Second Skin reopened at 405 W. Main St.
